Since 1984, Music From China has brought the best of Chinese music —
ancient, folk and contemporary — to audiences in the New York area and beyond.
Founded by Director Susan Cheng and with Artistic Director Wang Guowei, the ensemble has carved a unique place in the music world by playing not only the traditional repertoire, but creating and presenting new work by established and emerging composers.
